Class Treats: Deconstructed Oreos

When it comes to my boys, I go the extra mile. There’s little time in my day right now for anything that isn’t necessary. But when H1 came home from preschool last week, floored by his friend’s special birthday treat, asking for a special treat of his own to take in; I knew this task had been moved to the “necessary list.” Making cupcakes was too time consuming but the backup plan of Oreo’s wouldn’t be enough. Therefore, I created this compromise; “Deconstructed Oreo Cookie Bags.”

Step 2 – Assemble:

  • Put frosting into Ziploc bags, snip the corner, and pipe into cups. Top with confetti from frosting container.
  • Place 10-12 cookies in each bag.
  • Top each bag with a frosting cup and close. Secure closure with included twist tie.
  • For an added affect you can add ribbons, tag, etc. to jazz them up.
